The AGM-84A Harpoon is the US Navy's premier anti-ship missile.  It is such a universal missile that air, ship, and land launched versions have been developed and deployed.  It uses semi-active radar to guide to the target area and active radar in its terminal phase.  The AGM-84A has an HE penetrating warhead to maximize target destruction.
